چکیده
Background: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a prevalent childhood cancer, accounting for approximately 25% of all pediatric cancer cases. The incidence hypertension in ALL patients significantly higher compared to the general population, emphasizing need better understanding and management this condition. aim study was evaluate hematological biochemical factors during induction chemotherapy ALL. Methods: This prospective observational conducted Department Pediatric Hematology Oncology at BSMMU from July 2017 June 2018. included 93 newly diagnosed cases children aged 1 17.9 years, excluding those below year above 18 known hypertension, with pre-existing before chemotherapy, old or relapse Results: found that 17.2% population experienced renal derangement remission phase, while majority (82.8%) did not. presence not associated hypertension. However, who developed tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) had percentage (12.5%) non-hypertensive group (1.3%). Febrile neutropenia, convulsion, coagulopathy were also observed more frequently. median time detect on day 8, mean duration 13.6 days. Conclusions: In study, frequency second week associations syndrome, febrile coagulopathy.
